Suite Manila<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The name of this suite comes from the multitude of decorative elements inherited from Do\u00f1a Guadalupe Gonz\u00e1lez de Mesa (1853-1939) who married Juan de Ascanio y Nieves and lived in the Philippines when it was still Spanish territory. Their house with a chapel was located at number 8, Calle Nava y Grim\u00f3n, where she had a cockatoo brought from the Philippines, which she said hid all the shiny jewels she could get her hands on.<\/p>\n

The decoration includes several boards with mother-of-pearl inlays, several period Chinese paintings, and a spectacular Manila shawl which we are in the process of framing and which we can show to interested guests, all inherited from Aunt Guadalupe from the Philippines.<\/p>\n

There are also other valuable oriental elements such as an impressive armchair with Chinese dragons that surprise us in this palatial room with arch and columns, and two impressive chandeliers. This suite was the old hall of the house and where visitors were received or where the authorities were greeted in the processions from its french doors. This room allows the celebration of small events or presentations for which the corresponding information can be requested, to witness the Magna Procession of Holy Week or any act of interest.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Nava Suites<\/h4>\n

Our establishment is an impressive eclectic-modernist mansion from the early 20th century built on the original construction of an 18th century Canarian mansion, where we find 10 suites with a unique history and personality each one of them. Its front, rich in neoclassical decorations, has one of the first Canarian iron balconies.<\/p>\n

Our palace has an emblematic main courtyard decorated with plasterwork and iron columns, also surprising the visitors with the discovery of a bucolic back garden that will bring us closer to nature to the delight of our guests.<\/p>\n
