Suite Consulado<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

It is one of our largest accommodation units. It has a private terrace overlooking the garden, two bedrooms (the second with is a sofa bed), dressing room, bathroom and a large kitchen and living room.<\/p>\n

In this suite was the old kitchen of the house. We have called it Consulado in honour of the Royal Canary Islands Sea and Land Consulate which was established in La Laguna, at the request of the s\u00edndico personero de Tenerife in Cabildo of this island in 1771: Dr. Amaro Gonz\u00e1lez de Mesa who inherited the mercantile tradition of his famous uncle the Corsair Amaro Pargo, for “all the files of causes and litigation of commerce”, in particular with the West Indies, and which promoted trade in products exported to and imported from the Canary Islands such as wine, tar, almonds, cocoa, sugar, tobacco, cereals, flour, fish, etc<\/p>\n

The decoration of the suite includes a photo of the impressive and leafy courtyard of the house where the Consulate of the Canary Islands Sea and Land was located in the 18th century, located at Calle Bencomo 23, a building that belongs to the owner family and which can be visited by reservation by our clients.<\/p>\n

In the living room, four contemporary still life photographs stand out acquired from Estudio Efa.<\/p>\n

In the bathroom we find the witty digital compositions of a local artist and architect, signed with his pseudonym Lecocolier.

Nava Suites<\/h4>\n

Our establishment is an impressive eclectic-modernist mansion from the early 20th century built on the original construction of an 18th century Canarian mansion, where we find 10 suites with a unique history and personality each one of them. Its front, rich in neoclassical decorations, has one of the first Canarian iron balconies.<\/p>\n

Our palace has an emblematic main courtyard decorated with plasterwork and iron columns, also surprising the visitors with the discovery of a bucolic back garden that will bring us closer to nature to the delight of our guests.<\/p>\n
