This accommodation unit takes its name from Leonardo Torriani (1559-1628), an exceptional figure in the modern history of the Canary Islands, author of the first plans and chronicles of the Canary Islands and especially author of the first plan of La Laguna (1588), a city “without defensive walls and open on all sides”, which contributed to its declaration as a World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n

He was an Italian engineer ordered by the court of Philip II to draw up a plan for the fortifications and defence of the islands. Of San Crist\u00f3bal de La Laguna. Torriani himself wrote in his report that “this city, built after the conquest, is the largest and most populated of all the others on these islands. In addition to the thousand houses it contains, each one of them has a large orchard space next to it, filled with orange trees and other beautiful trees”, such as the palace of Nava Suites itself.<\/p>\n

This suite consists of a bedroom, bathroom and living room-kitchen. The print of Torriani’s map of the city of San Crist\u00f3bal de La Laguna stands out, as well as watercolours of the palace and other heritage sites in the city.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Our establishment is an impressive eclectic-modernist mansion from the early 20th century built on the original construction of an 18th century Canarian mansion, where we find 10 suites with a unique history and personality each one of them. Its front, rich in neoclassical decorations, has one of the first Canarian iron balconies.<\/p>\n

Our palace has an emblematic main courtyard decorated with plasterwork and iron columns, also surprising the visitors with the discovery of a bucolic back garden that will bring us closer to nature to the delight of our guests.<\/p>\n
